About our presenter: Maya Gottfried is the author of three children’s books, including Good Dog and Our Farm: By the Animals of Farm Sanctuary (both published by Knopf), as well as the adult nonfiction lifestyle guide Vegan Love. Her essays have appeared in media outlets including Oprah Daily,  The Washington Post, and Stat (Boston Globe Media).

These behaviors are a form of communication, and are essential to understanding the needs of the person with dementia. This program will help attendees identify common triggers for behaviors associated with dementia and learn strategies for addressing common dementia-related behaviors.
