Ghostland: An American History in Haunted Places

RESCHEDULED TO TUESDAY, MAY 29, 7:00-8:00 PM Colin Dickey will read from his most recent nonfiction book, Ghostland: An American History in Haunted Places, a cultural history of the United States via its haunted houses, hotels, graveyards, and prisons. He’ll discuss stories of famous hauntings from the Hudson Valley, as well as what those stories tell us about ourselves and our relationship to history. We’ll also discuss why some places seem to be more haunted than others, and give you a chance to tell your own ghost experiences. Registration is required.
