Boosting the Immune System

Presented by Dr. Nancy Iankowitz of Holistic and Integrative Healing LLC Wednesday, July 12 7:00-8:00 pm Boosting the Immune System is a short presentation that addresses the role of the skin, tongue & gastrointestinal system in protecting us. Participants will learn how to avoid and heal quickly from colds and flu viruses using food, herbs, vitamins and minerals to strengthen their own body’s natural defenses. They’ll learn how to speed up the body’s healing schedule regarding minor cuts and bruises and how to choose the right foods and beverages to help recover from minor viral illnesses. English for Speakers of Other Languages with Karina Cerna Friday, July 7th and 21st 2:00 – 5:00 pm Tutoring is available for both adults and teens. Sessions are for one hour. An Olive Oil and Vinegar Tasting Seminar

Presented by The Blue Olive Tuesday, June 13 / 7:00-8:30 pm Join The Blue Olive for an informative demonstration about complementing meals using the incredible trio that is summer vegetables, extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars. There are so many wonderful vegetables available locally each spring and summer, but we don’t always know how to prepare them properly.
