2022 Library Book Sale

Borrow more eBooks with Libby

The Mid-Hudson Library System has entered into a reciprocal lending agreement with the Upper Hudson Library System. This means that many of the eBooks and downloadable audiobooks available through their libraries can now be checked out by Pawling Library patrons. The agreement only covers content on the Overdrive/Libby platform which is not actively checked out by another user. April’s Board Meeting Rescheduled

Due to a lack of quorum, the April 2022 meeting of the Pawling Library Board of Trustees has been rescheduled. The meeting will now be held on Thursday April 21st at 6:45 PM in the library annex. Members of the public are welcome to attend. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the change of date.

Service Alert

Due to a planned power outage, the library will have a delayed opening on Monday April 4th. We don’t know the exact time when power will be restored, but we will open as soon as we are able. While we are without electricity we will be unable to receive phone calls and emails. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

We Are Looking for a New Library Clerk

Free Covid Tests

Dutchess County has provided the Pawling Library with at-home Covid tests. Anyone who would like a free two-pack of tests may pick one up at the library any time we are open, while supplies last.

The Pawling Library currently has two vacancies on our board of trustees. If you are interested in giving back to your community, joining the board is a great way to work together with others to lead the library through a very exciting time. We are especially in need of someone with financial know-how who could serve as a board treasurer.
