Thankgiving Week Hours

If you are not going over the river and through the woods this Thanksgiving, you might be interested in knowing when the Pawling Library will be open.  We will be reducing our schedule during Thanksgiving week, so that staff are able to spend time with their loved ones. We will close at 3 PM on Wednesday and then re-open at noon on Friday. Day by day, that means our hours are as follows: Monday: 12-5, Tuesday: 10-8, Wednesday: 10-3, Thursday: Closed, Friday: 12-5, Saturday: 10-4, Sunday: 12-4

We will be open

The Pawling Library will be open 12-5 on Monday October 11th. Come visit us to check out a book, use the WiFi, drop off donations for the Pawling Resource Center, or just to say hello to our friendly staff.

Library Book Sale

The first weekend of the library’s book sale was a big hit. We raised more money in the first weekend of the sale than we did over the course of both weekends in 2019. Masks Highly Encouraged

Starting Wednesday June 23rd, the Pawling Library will be relaxing its safety restrictions. Fully vaccinated individuals may use their best judgment about whether to wear a mask, but masks are highly encouraged. All public computers are available for use, and we will be open for our normal hours of operation. Community Survey

Emergency Board Meeting

On Monday July 19th at 6:30 PM, the library annex will be the site of an emergency board meeting. The library’s board of trustees will meet to discuss funding for the proposed building expansion.

Open July 5th

The Pawling Library will be closed on Independence Day, as with every other Sunday in July and August. We will be OPEN on Monday July 5th.

The Pawling Library is looking to hire a part-time Library Clerk to work the circulation desk on Tuesdays and Sundays.
