Join us for an Easy Hike!

Sunday, May 18th at 11 am @ Native Landscapes on Rt. 22 We’ll be hiking up to Corbin Hill  to celebrate the Installation of our Little Free Library and the introduction of our Appalachian Trail Backpacks. The Hike will be led by Harlem Valley AT Ambassador, Cassie Kessman, who will teach us about native plants, wild edibles, invasive species, & the AT. The Hike will be approximately two hours roundtrip. The Little Free Library will be located at the Telephone Pioneers Shelter near Cat Rocks, a popular destination for Day Hikers and a camping spot for through-hikers doing more of The Trail. The new backpacks, filled with maps, guides, and binoculars, can be borrowed  by  anyone with a library card, and they’re available at the Dover and Pawling Libraries.
